Hash Brown Dish

2 pounds frozen hash browns
2 1/2 cups cheddar cheese
16 ounces sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
1/2 cup butter
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 1/2 cups corn flakes, crumbled
2 tablespoons butter


Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and 2 tablespoons butter. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Combine corn flake crumbs and butter, sprinkle over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-60 minutes.
