Malted Chocolate Chip Cookie

           1/2 cup butter, softened
           2/3 cup brown sugar (133 grams)
           1 egg
           2 teaspoon vanilla
           1 1/2 cups flour (187.5 grams)
           1/4 cup malted malt powder (30 grams)
           1/2 teaspoon baking soda
           1/2 teaspoon salt
           1/2 cup milk chocolate chips

           Preheat oven to 350°

           In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar, add egg and
           vanilla and mix to combine. In a separate bowl combine flour, malt
           powder, baking powder and salt. Add to mixer 1/2 cup at a time, mix
           well after each addition. Fold in chocolate chips.

           Scoop cookies onto a parchment lined cookie sheet 2 inches apart.
           bake until edges begin to brown, 8-11 minutes.
